Apps and Services
Checking status of Nebula apps and services...
Welcome to Nebula Core!
Nebula Core is a privately owned an operated "cloud services" provider built and maintained by Victor Rossi, a hobbyist designer, photographer, and tech enthusiast. Nebula Core is the central component in a growing network of machines and services, and aims to reduce Nebula users' reliance on major cloud platform providers like Google or Amazon.
If you've got a Nebula account (formerly Catserver account), log in with your credentials in the upper right. Having an account allows you to access the full array of features and services offered by Nebula Core, and allows you to provide some feedback, if you see fit. It's pretty neato.
If you need an account, send me an email and I'll set you up. Due to limited resources, accounts are only provided to friends and family at this time.
2011-08-26: First day in Seattle for PAX, all about hanging out on the streets
and getting dinner twice.►
Basically, after doing a small tour of the relevant areas (Pike Place, Space Needle, and of course, the convention center), we spent a few hours on or around this street corner. Why's that? Good question. Nothing better than scouting out fellow PAX attendees simply by their attire and mannerisms, getting some beers, and befriending the local wildlife. And tomorrow? That's when the real fun begins.
Oh, and also. Some minor UI changes. What say ye?
I'll try and post pictures, video, news and whatnot each day/night if possible, just to keep things interesting. Also, working on a new user nav. It's really pretty!
2011-08-24: Attending PAX Prime this weekend, so I'll do some coverage! Just for you guys!►
Somehow, I got into a situation (once again) where I randomly stopped working on Catserver, even though I'm in the middle of several very interesting, and exciting, projects. I know, I know, what a terrible admin right? Anyways, I encourage users to try out the recent improvements I've made to the comment system, such as the REVOLUTIONARY ability to edit and delete existing comments. Let me know how it works out for you.
2011-08-08: And all of the sudden...►
It seems like I'm doing this way too often, but nevertheless, it's up and running again. A note to players (or potential players), please refrain from expanding the world beyond it's current bounds. I'm not going to enforce this via set limits because I feel like players should have this option for future expandability, but due to the massive amount of open/unused space currently available, I feel like it's not particularly necessary. And remember, as always, you're free to leave comments or suggestions via @catserverdotnet on Twitter, here in the comments, or through email at victor (at) catserver (dot) net.
2011-07-14: Fixed the Minecraft server yet again...►
Let me know if you encounter any problems/broken plugins/exploded areas and so on. Have fun!
2011-07-07: Minecraft and Bukkit updated to latest version!►
