Personal FTP Account Login
Joining Catserver
Some basic information about Catserver Accounts:
- Basic Member Login allows access to otherwise restricted files.
- FTP accounts are online space for file storage. They are secure, relatively fast, and easy to access. From this you can host files for external sites (if they are placed in the "Shared files" directory) and you can stream media of any bitrate with low buffer times (if placed in the "Unsecured" directory).
- Please limit the amount of data you upload. Storage is limited, thus I cannot afford to have tons of excess files.
- FTP accounts work best in Internet Explorer 7 or later for web access, or via a FTP client.
- Please do not delete/alter other members files when they are in the "Unsecured" or "Shared Files" directory. However, I cannot guarantee this won't happen to your files. Do not place critical files or those which contain private information in these directories.
- Personal Member Account Login allows for you to view the files in your directory and those in the "General" (aka "Shared Files") directory. This allows you to download anything you or anyone else has placed there.
